Default 2017 Transmission Fluid Flush and Coolant Flush

At the dealer and they said they recommend the transmission fluid and coolant to be flushed every 30k miles, I have 36k miles currently, looking at the manual this seems like complete BS as they recommend coolant at 120K miles and no transmission flush.

Are they just trying to fleece me or are they correct? Not doing coolant today as I don't think it's needed, I did do transmission as some searching did find people saying to do it 30-45K still.

Just looking for what everyone thinks.

Coolant is longlife, replace at either 10yrs or 200,000kms / 120,000 miles. I would let rip at the service manager, & if necessary the dealer principle.

Transmission is supposedly sealed/filled for life. What is the expected life? Who knows. Too many factors to influence this.
A couple of hundred dollars every two or three years vs $4000 or $5000 for a new trans.

Even with the transmission being filled for life, they are easy enough to drain & refill. My personal choice would be to flush the trans oil every 30,000 miles.

I work at a high volume transmission shop. The manufacturers have been lengthening out service intervals over the last 10 years to advertise a lower yearly cost of ownership. Filled for life is krapp. It is fill for life,Life is just a lot shorter! Change your transmission fluid every 30000 miles.
