I'm wondering if everyone else has noticed that Mazda has used tape to cover holes with tape? I lifted up the carpet in the trunk of the car for the first time yesterday and noticed spots in the metal where light was coming through. When I looked under the car I saw what looked like masking tape covering holes in the metal. I know that the tape is probably not basic masking tape, but shouldn't there be another material covering these holes?
Has anyone else seen noticed this in their car?
