Since the measure of success was/is increase in cruise control functioning, what the measureable haze is is pretty much irrelevant.

I understand DIY tend to exaggerate a bit... its human...
I actually know what it takes to polish clear plastic material so your % and I actually own very expensive (over 600 USD ) measuring tool and having to polish plastic even ordered with "A" quality clarity it still needed to be polished a tad so your % was a bit high. based on what you used.
It too bad you didn't post a before and after picture for other member to see your work. This would have been extremely beneficial.
