I really hate to burst your bubble. I know you are excited. I was too. But those pictures you are looking at are the European edition Mazda 6. We are getting a more generic version of the 6 here in the US. Motortrend.com has some pics of the 2009 US Mazda 6. It is not nearly as slick as what you see. It may even be a big dissapointment. All because the majority of US citizens want huge cars. So we get stuck with an bigger car. I love my 6 even more right now!

 

As mazda guy said, you are looking at the 6 that the rest of the world will get. This is what we will be getting. Big difference huh.

Once again they have taken an excellent styled car and completely ruined it . What is it with the American market that has the philosophy of if something is cool... f&%$ it up? The face lift the Accord got is god awful, and this face lift for the 6 makes it look like utter trash, you couldn't pay me to take one of those.

Get a clue Mazda!!!!

I recently bought the new 6 in europe, and to tell you the truth, it's the first time I don't regret that I don't live in the US. The american version looks pretty f*** up indeed. But our vesrion is not perfect also. We have no good engine range to choose from. The best is a 2,5l R4 petrol with 170hp

 

the NA mazda6 is just an eyesore IMO... not a fan of it!

 

The US version looks like an expanded version RX-8. I wont be in a hurry to get one, but the new 3.5 V6 would be nice to have. BTW, some idiot ran into me and her insurance company denied the claim...I'll be seeing her in court.

 

hey im lookin to get some led's for under my 6 and possibly some new rims pretty cheap anybody know where i can go let me know so i cam get them asap

 

Wrong section. Try posting this in the "wanted" section please. Can a mod delete that post. Let's try to keep it a thread for discussing the 6 only please. Also, from what I have heard, the new 6 will come with the 3.7l not the 3.5l. Not 100% sure, we will just have to wait & see.
