2008 Mazda 6, Bose Soundsystem -> Pioneer F900 BT ?
Hi,
since last week I'm also a Mazda 6 owner. Actually I'm a little desperate because my dealer who sold also a Pioneer
F900 BT with this car (there was no car with built in Navigation available), told me that it's impossible to install a
Pioneer F900 BT if there is also a Bose soundsystem onboard.
Is there any possibility (adapter cable ...) to install a F900 BT and let the Bose Soundsystem (ok, with less functionality then)
where it is?
Thanks a lot
Andreas

So I joined this thing just to reply... It isn't impossible, but sort of costly. 1st is if you have OnStar with your Bose system, you have to by a separate harness. $150.00. If you want to connect your ipod you have to buy another cable with composite RCA's. $60.00. If you have steering wheel controls you have to then purchase yet another harness. $100.00. So again, not impossible, but expensive. Installing it tomorrow so we will see how it goes. Driving a 2007 vette.
