2007 Mazda Mazda6 - Engine clicking

Seems to only happen in 1st gear @1500+ rpm, but when im cruising at any speed I hear it as well. I recently noticed that i can hear it when not in gear. oh yeah this is a manual car.
Any one if past experience with this car, I would love to add ya to my contacts.
