Default 2006 Mazda 6 PROBLEM ALREADY!

I just got a new mazda 6i last week. Last night, I was driving and I was at a stop light, the engine started to kick and the engine light went on. NEW CAR???!?!?!?!?! What the hell is going on with this thing? I dropped it off at the dealer right after that....lemon?...

It could be any one of a number of things. If one of the sensors didn't get seated fully (intermittent connection) it could cause the engine to not get proper readings.

A Lemon is defined as taking the vehicle back more than 3 times for the same issue without it being resolved. As your Serv Engine Soon light came on, that means it tripped a code, so it should be quite easy for the dealer to identify the issue. Good Luck.

Hmm. I have that feeling of unrealiabilty now b/c it is supposed to be new you know. Is there any sort of warranty issues or extensions I should ask for free....this has never happened to me before...

It was the 1st cylinder spark plug.....they replaced it....supposedly it will not harm....there was a hairline crack in the spark plug......

some dealerships have the engine washed before the car is sold. the spark plugs get wet sometimes. we had a few situations where customers came back complaining and found this to be the case.
