I had a large tear in my OEM boot so I decided to just upgrade the air intake. There's no place for the VAD solenoid to connect into the new air intake since there is no box. Where does this connect or do I need the hoses to be connected? Ever since changing the intake I get a code P2179 that comes and goes every couple of days.
