Default 2005 Mazda6 Air Bag Help.

Hey everyone, New to this forum as of today. I came across a post in the Millenia section discussing the air bag light and possible problems.

Im currently having problems with a 2005 mazda6. About a month ago the air bag light came on. It started as a random thing maybe 10% of the time I started the car and now its about 99% of the time.

I read the other thread and got some tips for checking the wiring and connectors for a loose connection, or that it could possibly be a sensor or other component that has gone bad.

Here is what it does:
starting the car the light comes on for a few seconds then goes away. Then it will blink in a 2 1 2 1 repeating pattern. I have seen the pattern repeat anywhere from 1 to 5 times before it goes solid. The duration between the 2 and 1 blinks is the same (about 1 second). The flashing happens regardless of how many people are in the front seats (0 1 or 2)

I just tried moving the wires around under the passenger seat, everything looked like it was connected but I did not unplug and plug all of the connectors. I could not reach under the driver seat because of the guard on the front of the seat.

Does anyone know what the blinking pattern means? I know babyhuey was giving some great information in the other thread. I tried to search to see if this was done before but did not find anything.

I know its a bit of a long post, thanks for taking the time to read it.

Airbag Code 21 - You should be able to go into Autozone (or similar), give them the code and they can tell you what that code means. (I tried searching but couldn't find anything)
