Just purchased this car 2nd hand to find the washer jets for the windscreen are blocked. What is the best way to remove them from the bonnet (hood) to clean them properly? Do I have to remove the matting first?

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

 

No need to remove anything. Get a small needle or sewing pin & poke the nozzle to dislodge the blockage, squirt the washers to wash the blockage out.

Also you can gently adjust the alignment of the individual jets.
