I have no idea of the maintenence history on this car, but from the issues I'm having I'd say it wasn't good... Now the dealer said they will just swap cars when I find one that we like... This should be as interesting as trying to fix the mazda 6 issues... Screwed as usual...

 

I am guessing the compression test wasn't good?.

 

Choose the one you like, then ask the dealer if you can take it to an independent mechanic for a pre-purchase look-see. That will cost you about $100. But that is the price for peace of mind.
And if the dealer says "No" you introduce him to this guy:

 

yes I will have to have the next car checked out. This is a large dealer too... OAk Lawn Toyota in Oak Lawn illinois... I kind of suspect they new the Mazda was screwed up , why else would the be sellinging it for $5495.... I asked the sale guy why so cheap compared to their other used car prices, he said he place the price wrong in the add but would honor it... Well if Oak Lawn Toyota screws me on the next cat because that have cars lik 2000 Canry with 154k on their lot for $7900.. I guess I will just continue posting on review boards about their deceptive selling practices.... Yes Oak lawn Toyota ... Oak Lawn Illinois... And to answer another post on here the dealer doesnt want to invest any repair time into the car...
