2003 Mazda6s Purge Valve Solonoid
Hi,
First time post. I've gotten a P0171 and a P0441 a couple of times after clearing those codes. Car is a 2003 6s with the 3.0/v6. I suspect a purge valve issue, the one that sits on the firewall on the driver's side. When I called the dealership, they wanted $300 bucks for this part! 122,000 miles on the car. Does anyone know the mazda part number for this and can you recommend a cheaper location to get the part? Do any older Mazda's use this part that I might find at a junk yard somewhere? Seems to run OK in spite of the CEL. Takes about a month for the code to come back.

p.s. Could the issue be something other than a purge valve solenoid?
