I bought a 07' mazda6 VE last November. But in less than 1 month I cannot start it. The dealer said it's because of the cold weather (I live in Chicago) and he replaced the battery. Then this morning, I cannot start the car again. really upset this time. Is there anyone having similar experience? Anybody knows if it's possible there's any severe problem other than the battery with the car?

I love my car. Just the "wont start" thing is really annoying. Any comments are welcome. Thanks!!!

 

My old mazda 6i, 04 had such problem when driving in freeway traffic. The car suddenly stoped and had to start again. Due to slow speed, there was no car accident. I was not happy so much. I complained to the dealer for three times.Last fixed, the car stayed in the dealer for one week. Honestly, I did not know what they replaced and could not tell on the warranty statement.

Someone told me this is ADI motor or ATI motor which is a part of transmission control. Irepaird same staff on my old camry during 90000 miles.

After mazda dealer fixed, I had a car accident on mazda during the end of 2005. The problem came back again. The car finally sold back to bodyshop.

My new mazda 6s, 06 has no suddenly stop problem for first 5000 miles.(knock on wood). The quality on new v6 is much better thanmy old 4 cy.I enjoy my mazda so much now.
If your car like my old mazda,you have to askyour dealer give you arental car. Itcan not fix it withinone day.If you dealer could not fix,you bettertry other dealers.

 

Do you have a remote started on the car? could be that... has similar problems with another car...

 

Sometimes my04 6i seems hesitant to start in the winter months. Obviously I don't have as big a problem because I live in Texas, but I went to the dealership to get it checked out and they said they couldn't find a problem.They said they even tried to recreate the cold environment and still found no problem...

You have a great attitudebecause if it were me, I sure wouldn't be loving the car. Have you taken it to another dealer? Is cold weather a typical problem for brandnew cars in your area? I would be inclined to get rid of it.
