'06 M6 - power loss in higher G turn ???
Hi all. New to this forum, was searching for answers before I take my wifes 6 into the dealer for help.
We were driving this week home from xmas break, and during high G turns (Fast entrance/exit in the on/off cloverleaf ramps on highways) we'd lose power - as if the engine were out of gas. Ease off the turn, and youd get fuel again.
We had at least 4 gallons in the tank (just under 1/4 tank remaining on gauge (and filled 11.5 gal at station 20 mile later)). It was as if the fuel tank baffle system didn't work.
Anyone experienced anything similar, or heard of anything similar?
Oh - FYI - w/ full tank, and all sorts of high g extended turns on the ramps today, I couldn't repeat the problem. I just hate for it to become an issue when the power is needed and the engine stalls. I will reattempt w/ lower fuel level in the tank to try to repeat problem.
Thanks in advance.

RE: '06 M6 - power loss in higher G turn ???
i do high-gforce turns ALOT (hairpins at 60, etc) but i have the 5spd manual
so i usually dont gas it through corners.
haha now that u mention this potential issue
im gonna try it out tomorow. my tank is on empty anyways.

Let me know what you find out. Thanks.
Oh, FYI - I recall that it happened after a sustained high g turn, ie. 3/4 the way up the ramp. Don't know if a hairpin turn that isn't sustained for awhile will do this - when you can' t let the fuel settle at an angle through the turn.
