i just bought a 05 Mazda6. The issue I'm having with it is when I take the key out of the ignition it beeps till I shut the drivers door and when I open the drivers door it beeps till I turn on the car. I also can't lock the car doors by the door lock button until I shut all the doors and use the key to lock the doors. Investingating this issue I have been able to shut the car off without the beeping and then I'm able to use the door lock button.

Any ideas why this is happening. It very annoying.

Sounds like the key needs to be coded back to the car. Do a search on the site for the details on a how to code key to car and if you find nothing do a Google search.
