Had my 03 Mazda 6 towed to the dealer because of a loud high pitched squealing noise that started while turning on a freeway entrance ramp. Continued while accelorating/coasting, braking and turning, but stopped when idling. Car has 47k miles (I purchased it 6 months ago), had brakes checked two months ago and I was told I shouldn't need the pads replaced until I reach approx 70k. Also had engine light diagnostic and oil change two weeks ago. Dealer did not mark anything on brake inspection- no indication on wear, or even if they checked the brake pads at all... any ideas about what the sound could be? Thanks

 

Note: my front pads lasted exactly 40k miles, then the wear indicators started screeching. This might be your problem.

Assumption #2 is that you have a loose belt, which is fine at idle, but once it's loaded, it screeches.
