living in BC with ton of rain and snow i run snow tires from Nov till march.
What kind of tires do you have and would buy again?

Those are nice. The ones to watch out for are ones that have holes that you can actually put studs in. The pic here has studs in them. They are fine with them, but they do not come with them, and without them they are worse than regular snow tires.
Without the studs there is less tread!
Last year a company tried to sell me studded tires without studs, cause they were cheaper!

 

I'd have to run out to check, but my snow tires are "studdable" I believe, but without studs, and I get great response from them in the snow. For the life of me I can't recall the brand/model. I'll check later today and post again with the details

 

You'll get even better with the Continentals !

Noggin, you just may be right! but I can't really compare without dropping a grand. ;-).

Like a dummy I went out to check what I have for snowies, and then realized that my snow tires in buried away in my crawl space!! If I remember, I will update this thread when I haul them out to put on the car in a month or so.

 

Studless Yokohama IG20 205/60R16. Before this one I used Bridgestone Revo2. Both are good tires.
