I have a 2007 mazda5. I didn't come with an owners manual. What coolant do I use?

It depends on color of coolant. My 04 is pink, but 06 is different color. The best way using a tissue to get some coolant out, ask auto part store.

Prestone extended life antifreeze/coolant - light color which can mixed any color.

If pink color, you get prestone other type.

 

Color is a matter of taste. Different brands use different colors -- it's only dye. The color doesn't tell you whether the antifreeze contains ordinary corrosion inhibitors or the newer (recommended) longer lasting corrosion inhibitors.

It is not a good idea to mix the two types of coolant. Although it won't damage anything, it will reduce the effectiveness of the corrosion inhibiting properties of the coolant.
