I just picked up my new 2023 Mazda CX 5 PP and I think this vehicle has one of the quietest interiors of all the vehicles I’ve owned and I’ve had BMW and several different other brands. So my question is has anyone changed to a different tire other than Toyo tires and think it’s a more quieter ride? I’ve read that Continental tires are a more quieter tire too.

 

Look at Tire Rack or a similar site for the reviews and ratings to see what options are available for your Mazda. I have found their reviews and recommendations to be extremely helpful especially in figuring out what I want out of a tire: tread life, wet traction, dry traction, snow, stopping, cornering, road noise, and so on.

I bought Continental Extreme Contact and have been very happy.

I have found the tires on new Mazdas to be the weakest aspect. I was happy to have a nail in a tire to justify a new set in my daily driver and the tires on my kid's Mazda barely lasted 20,000 miles.

 

I would have to agree with this last response both in recommending where to look and also the choice of tire. I ran those for about 30k miles specifically for smooth and quietness they gave.
