Hey guys, I've got a 2008 mazda 5 (Premacy as they call them here) with a bad TCM, its doing all the usual hard shift, limp mode etc. Its throwing code P0758-FF "shift solenoid b"
Just wondering about compatibility between diffrent TCM part numbers? Car is a 2 litre 5 speed auto, if i had a TCM from a model with the same displacement and gearbox would that work at all? Say 2010 mazda 5? Struggling to find much info, have heard they share the same drivetrain as the mazda 3, Really trying to avoid the $1200 i was quoted from my mazda dealer, can pickup others relatively cheap just dont want to buy the wrong one.
