Default sourcing a manual transmission

I recently obtained a 2014 sport with the 6 speed manual transmission that needs replacing. any idea on where to look? Keep in mind ive called 15 or so places locally and nation wide, so a specific business or person you are familiar with would be more helpful answer. cheers.

Wow, what caused your transmission to fail? This is the first 6-Speed SkyActiv transmission failure I've heard of. Regarding where to get one, I'm reasonably certain any Mazda3, Mazda5, or Mazda6 6-Speed Manual transmission should work from any of the SkyActiv models. Have you tried looking at car-part.com; they are a great resource for finding parts.

the previous owner drove it for 50k miles in washington dc pretty poorly. I bought it on the cheap thinking it needed a new clutch. this was a nasty surprise. as for compatibility, it will fit a transmission from 2012-2015 5's only. unfortunately all of the car-parts.com listings are canadian with no us shipping.
