When I first got my Mazda 5 about a year ago the seatbelt warning, both audible and the light, would be on for the passenger seat even when there was no one sat there.
I fixed this by simply disconnecting the occupancy pad in the seat itself.
The light and alarm are now coming on at random and the only way to stop it is to keep the passenger seatbelt plugged in.
I had thought that by disconnecting the occupancy pad that it would be impossible for the warning light to come back on, am I missing something?
Can anyone tell me how to resolve this?

 

... I have problem on driver side, seatbelt is on but that beebing sound is still on and won't stop ...
