Also recently bought an 05 Sport..service picked up on tyre wear so curious to see what happens with that.
meantime I also am looking for some spares (parcel shelf in particular) so interested in good provider of spares (new or salvaged)

Zoom Zoom 2007 Mazda 5 Sport from Luton - 45k miles.
Non tyre munching but so far changed:
Rear shocks to KYB as Ford one are made of Chocolate
Dog bones on rear suspension
Squealing aircon belt
Fitted and wired in Tow Bar for bike rack
Plugs (no way were they good for 60k)
For the record suspension parts are the same as for a Focus 2 / Cmax - this can save u quite a few quid
Current problem
Front Shock Top Mounts groaning

Most suspension parts are shared with Focus 2 and C Max
Plenty of parts on Ebay
