replcment keys

I bought a 2006 Mazda 5 and the sealer only gave me one key. I purchased 2 new flip keys online using my VIN # and the locksmith said they are not the correct keys. How do I find out who is telling me the truth?

The only way to order replacement keys online is using the code tag number from the original key.
A locksmith is able to clone an existing key at a lesser expense.
