Radio not working- 2016 cx-5
Hello all,
I have a 2016 cx-5 touring....I have suddenly lost all functionality of my BOSE radio/stereo, CD...I'm not able to change stations, or adjust any of the settings. The NAV seems to be working fine.
At times it will make an annoying muffling sound. I've tried the soft reset many times, checked all fuses, even disconnecting the battery and most recently did a factory reset....no luck with any of it. Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers all

Hold Favorites + Mute + Music keys together for a few seconds until you'll see engineering menu. Then run diagnostics 3 (Read AVC DTC) , 4 (Read CMU DTC) and 5 (Read TAU DTC) take note of each result.
The path of your infotainment system is as follow: CMU --> TAU ---> Bose AMP, it looks like you lost communication to your TAU (tuner) either it failed or a fuse is blown.

Hi, thank you so much for this reply.....funny enough ...everything started working again just recently....this has happened before where nothing works and then suddenly it all works again 2 or 3 days later...very very strange...I checked the fuses and they are fine.... I will most certainly try this when it acts up again.
Thank you again!!!
Thank you again!!!
