Default Radiator supports

2007 Mazda 5 Touring, 2.3 L. There's a rattle in the front when I go over bumps. I discovered that the radiator seems to be loose at the top driver's side. It feels secure at the bottom and on the passenger side top. There's a pin on the top of the radiator, near the corner on both the passenger and driver's side of the radiator. It looks like it is located by a slot in the sheet metal directly in front of the radiator. The one on the passenger side feels secure. The pin on the driver's side can be moved as much as 1/2" to 3/4" back and forth, ie fore and aft in that slot. Is this normal? Is something missing?

Generally on the bottom there are holes, left and right, stamped into the core support with rubber bushings. The lower two pins on the radiator slip into these. The top is the same way except there are left and right brackets that bolt to the top of the core support so if radiator removal is required it can slide out the top. The rubber grommet
is probably missing on one side but you may have to get the bracket assembly to get it the top ones. Fairly cheap.

Thumbs up Radiator supports

Thanks! After reading your reply all it took was a trip to my local Mazda dealer for the parts. I got two rubber grommets and two plastic 'clamps' that secure the grommets in place. Thanks for your time and information in replying.
