Default oil reading

every time i get an oil change on my 07 maz 5, the dipstick shows that it is over filled, past the grid/maximum level,up to the first bend in the dipstick, about 20% over. Is the dipstick off?

Not likely. Most likely the oil changer guy is off. Check your manual to find out how much oil exactly the engine needs. When you get your oil changed again tell them that you noticed the overfill and tell them exactly how much oil it needs. I bet they won't overfill this time.
You could also go there and see if they have a suction tube to pull out the extra oil.
