Mazda5 Driver Space? Issue
Hey Y'all
1st time posting.
I just had my 2013 CX-5 totaled Monday. The payout is insufficient to replace like-for-like and I have a kid now. Looking at the Mazda5. The one consistent complaint I've read is the space for taller drivers.
Is this really a thing? At 6'5" with workboots I was super comfortable in the CX-5. Is the cockpit on this dadmobile comparable to that of the CX-5, or am I going to be disappointed with my test drive tomorrow?

Comfort is such a personal thing. Throw your normal attire on, including the work boots, and head out on your test drive. The only thing I can think of to watch on the Mazda5 is the motor mounts, especially the one on the right side by the washer fill bottle. They absorb quite a lot of the 4cyl engine vibration and do require replacement on higher mile vehicles. Other than that, solid vehicle, but a different animal than your CX-5.
