My car makes a knocking/rattle when starting the engine and when turning the engine off, also when driving it knocks when lifting off accelerator, I’ve changed the bottom gearbox mount, thinking it could possibly be the top mount? It doesn’t knock when going over bumps so I’m ruling out suspension, bushes etc. Anyone had this problem?

Mine just started doing that... no idea on the cause though I can rule out the suspension as well, only a few k mi on new control arms, struts, bushings, ball joints and sway bar links. silent and solid until a week ago, while getting ready to sell it :/
