Mazda 5 06' Creaks when put in D or R
My Mazda 5 creaks loudly when put into reverse or drive. I was told by the dealer that these cars "just do that". He said same goes for the 3's and 6's. Does anyone else experience this?
Does the creaking come from the rear wheels, emeraldeye? If so, it could be the handbrake problem mentioned in another topic. Could be the cables need to be tightened.
Does this happen when you first drive out after long parking and dissapear after driving and breaking a few blocks? It might be the corrosion buildup on the 4 disc rotors, the rotors sticks to the pads slightly and clean the surface when you drive and break a few times. This apparently according to my dealer happens during cold nights or during humid conditions.
