Hello everyone:

I need some input to help me decide what vehicle to purchase, a 2009 Mazda Sport Automatic or a 2008 Kia Rondo EX V6 automatic.

I am having trouble deciding ~ Thank You!!

 

Well, since this is a Mazda Site I anm going to have to go with the Mazda5, but that is just me [8D]

 

kia's arent great vehicles either. im going with the mazda5. its basically like choosing a mazda3 or a ford focus. your gonna choose the better one with more reputation then the other. and plus i guarantee the mazda5 is cheaper then the rondo

 

Mazda va Kia... Even before I bought my Mazda, and was driving a VW, I had no idea I would buy a Mazda, wasnt a Mazda fan, and I can tell you the thought never crossed my mind ever to buy a Kia... in other words, I would never buy a Kia - so MY vote is for a Mazda.

 

To play Devil's Advocate Kia has improved greatly since they were bought out by Hyundai. I used to feel the same way about Hyundais....... until I bought one. The best advice I can give you is to go to both dealers and drive each car. Don't get into features or trim lines, just drive them so you can honestly compare the differences in how you feel in them. The reason I say to disregard the features is because it's very easy to become dazzled by toys and lose focus on more important things like how comfortable you are in the car, how it handles, where controls are located, utility, etc.

That being said my father just purchased a 5 and it's a pretty darn cool car. Still, all our our tastes might not match what you think, thus the test drives.
