Default HELP! ABS warning light NOT working

Hi all!
About 4 years ago I bought a used 2008 Mazda5 2.0 Sport (petrol). It has been working fairly well until a couple of weeks ago.
Took it for an MOT and, among other problems that were all solved, it failed because the ABS warning light on the instrument cluster does not work. Took it to a diferent garage where the ABS was checked and everything seems fine (no errors detected) but they don't know what the problem with the cluster light is.
Before caving in and taking it to Mazda Oxford, does anyone have any ideas why this might be happening?
I saw used clusters on ebay for very cheap. Would it be possible to swap it? Would it need reprogramming of the ECU?
Thanks!

Changing the cluster will require reprogramming.
