Hello,

I have accidentally created a brief short circuit at the back of the alternator thick wire. Now the starter motor won't turn and the power steering light is on in the dash.
I can't find a burned fuse. Any idea what could have burned?

 

You've checked all the fuses and relays in the engine compartment with a tester, not just visually? What about the fuses on the passenger side of the dash?

 

The + battery connector contains a built in fuse for the wire going to the starter.
