DSC and window fault on Mazda 5
Hi, I've just bought a 55 plate mazda 5 (done 25K). It was serviced and MOT'd before I collected it but I have DSC warning light on constantly and the electric windows though work on the doors themselves do not work from the drivers door. I am going to contact the garage I bought it from but was wondering in the mean time does anyone know if this is a common fault, is it easy to fix and would it have shown up on the service? I'm just trying to predict if they would cover it in their warrenty I got when I bought the car or if this is going to turn into a very expensive car suddenly. thanks in advance.

check your operating manual!!!
You disconnected battery so you need to reprogram windows and steering position, nothing wrong with the car. |
thank you. I haven't touched the battery but I guess the previous owner could have. At least I now know its easy to fix. thanks again

If the DSC warning light (the skidding car) is on it is usually failure of the DSC/ABS control module. It is well over £1000 to replace so I would get back to the dealer immediately.
