Unhappy Cannot find my TCM anywhere! 2007 Mazda 5 (images included)

Hi,

I bought a Mazda 5 with a faulty TCM. AT light comes on if you try using the car before it's warm and gears are skipping. Perfectly fine when car is warm. Fluid and filter already changed.

I know that I have to replace the TCM but I have no idea where to find it. I've looked in the usual place under the battery compartment and have tried to follow the cables.

Does anyone have ideas? I have attached some images.

I should see the TCM here

Some people mount it at the back, not here

Some early transmissions were controlled by the PCM.

Default Same issue with my 2006 Mazda 5

Hi, whatever happend here? We have the exact same issue. I tried looking for the tcm but it's not where it is usually located. I also have to warm my engine before I can drive it properly. If not, AT light comes on and skips gears too.
