Default Burning oil

I am new to this forum and looking for some help. I have a 3003 P5 and am burning about 2 quarts of full synthetic oil (10w30) about every 5000 miles. I have just under 114000 miles. I change my oil every 6000 mile, but the way I am burning it I don't know what to do. any suggestion on possible problems

Default RE: Burning oil

Curious. I too checked the oil after a few thousand miles to find nothing registering on the dipstick. I quickly topped it up with a litre of oil I had in the garage, then took it in to the dealer, he said that there was no reason for the oil to have gone down. No leaks and also there was no evidence of the oil being burnt.........
I check the oil almost as regularly as I check the tyres......... This car is more hassle than an old Morris Minor, whenit comes to checking things that on a modern car should be hassle free!!!!!
