Default Blower Resistor location

Hi,
The heater blower on my Mazda5 only works at highest speed, so I am suspecting the resistor, but I'll be blowed if I can find where it is to check it. I looked online and the only videos or pictures showed it on the RHS of the heater unit at the back, but all I have there is a cover to the filter it seems. There is a plug above this with white and blue wires, but I can see where this leads to.

Any advice?

Thanks

Assuming you are in the UK with a RHD car? & its a 2009 -2012 model? & Do you have a manual fan dial, speed 1,2,3&4?

On the LHS of the heater box you should find, it attached to the pollen filter access flap.

If you have Climate AC its somewhere else, Just can't remember where.

Hi GR,

Sorry, should have mentioned the model. Yes, its a RHD UK 2010 registered Takora. Yes it has the manual dials. I previously looked from the passenger foot well, but could not see anything, I'll take another look when my wife returns from shopping!

Thanks

I checked on the LHS and found the pollen filter cover (I think), the filter was loose inside, but there was no signs of a resistor, in fact nothing with wires:

Filter cover on LHS, 2 screws missing, no wires
Thanks
