I have a 2009 Mazda 5 and don't like the weak horn. I would like to put in small air horns. Now here is where I need some help -

1. Where is the stock horn? I don't want to remove more grill panels than I need to to get to the horn wires.

2. I figure I would mount the air horns between the radiator and grill. What is involved in removing the grill. I don't want to remove any more than I have to. My wife doesn't want me ripping apart our new vehicle.

 

In the UK the 5 has two horns, playing in harmony! It's quite a strident sound.

I realise that didn't help you at all, but I thought I'd mention it.

My Mazda may have 2 horns but they do not sound strident. Maybe the European version is different than the USA version.
