My 2014 Mazda 5 seems to be lacking in insulation or something.....it seems a little noisy ...not noisy sick......just kinda like lacking in insulation of the drivetrain noise... or the the tire noise.
Is it naturally a little not quiet inside?

 

It is the nature of the car. Can't get everything for the price. There may be a thread on here about sound proofing.

 

This is true in general for Mazda but most certainly for the Mazda 5. As the other poster noted, the Mazda 5 is lacking in sound insulation.

but yea it's a little noisy.....I just got a better sound system to cover it up....hahahha...
maybe I'll check into soundproofing...

 

That's what I did to the trunk and firewall areas to my 2007 Mazda 5. It helped to tone down the outside noise.
