2007 Mazda 5 Power Steering Issue
Hi All, Looking for advice if I may.
Had a fluid leak from the power steering pump unit, no other issue at all.
Purchased an exact match second hand unit, although the power steering works I have the little car with wavy lines under it illuminated on the dash, code points to steering angle issue, on reading the live data it shows no voltage at all on the scanner.
Tried the engine on and off reset turning the wheel fully one way then the other 3 times etc, cleared the code but as soon as you move the steering wheel at all light comes back.
Am I correct in saying the steering angle sensor is fed by the four pin connector on the pump unit ? (there are 3 a 2,4 and 6 pin).
Could this be a bad connection or would you suggest something different?
Appreciate your help.
Mark
