Default would 18's make a drastic change

Hello there,I have a 2007 2.3 liter, automatic mazda 3 5 door.it currently has 17 inch rims on it.I found a pair of 18x8 tenzo concept 9 rims that I really want.I was wondering how a 1 inch difference would affect the ride, acceleration, and breaking, ect, ect. Thankyou

You will find that the tires cost a bit more, your ride will suffer a bit as will your handling, acceleration and braking. Long story short, if you're going to change your rims, stick with the 17" size.
