Default Will leaving a USB drive plugged in drain the battery?

Hello all, I've recently acquired a 2025 Mazda 3 Hatchback Carbon Edition.

I have decided to use one of the USB C ports in the center console to play music from a USB drive/stick, as I no longer have a CD player and don't want to rely on my phone for music. I noticed recently that if I plug my phone into a charger cable connected to one of the USB C ports when the car isn't on that it will draw power and charge the phone (even with engine off and not in standby mode)

This leads me to be a bit concerned that leaving the USB drive plugged in 24/7 will drain the car battery over time.
Is this something I need to worry about or does the car stop powering the USB ports after a few minutes of the car being off and locked?

I don't really want to have to plug in the USB stick every single ride because that will cause a lot of undue stress on the hardware.
