Default Will 2012 Ford Focus Eat Mazda3's Lunch?

The news of 2012 Ford Focus is out, and to me it's quite flashy. 2.0L I-4 with direct injection and VVT, which is mated to a dual-clutch 6-speed trans. what do you guys think?
________

Have not seen the HP figures yet, but it might give a 2.0 sedan a good run. But if it is like the the 2.0 in the Focus right now the 2.3 and the 2.5 will not have any problem with it.

It is a good looking car IMO

Mazda3 = European Focus (in a basic sense)

Just depends on what specifics you can get with the Mazda3 in comparison. I don't think there'll be an issue though
