Where can I get a new rim (cheap)?
Actually, it's not me. A buddy hit a rock in the road, completely destroyed an OEM 17" rim on his new 3. He's standing at the dealership now and not liking what he's hearing. What's a good price for an OEM rim? I saw an eBay store that's selling them for $165/ea.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Follow-up, in case anyone cares:
Just talked to my friend again. The dealer quoted him a cost of $350 for a new rim, $250 for a new Goodyear tire. No, I am not joking.
I found an eBay store called the Colorado Wheel Company selling rims for $165/ea. Luckily it's somewhat local so he's gonna check it out tomorrow.

i would ebay the wheel to get it... alot of people don't need their OEM wheels when they get aftermarket ones so the prices drop tremendouslyas the seller just wants to get rid of them for a reasonable amount of money being obtained.
Try Tires.com or Tirerack.com. You can order them online and get the tires / rims delivered to your auto body shop and they will put them on and balance. You pay for delivery, but should work out less than the tires from the dealer.
