RE: What oil to put in
i just did my oil change today actually.
Quake State full synthetic 5w20.
its all i ever use.
oh, and a good filter too. i use a quaker state filter, but a Fram is good too.
the oil i use it about $9 for a 1L bottle, and our cars use 4.3L ishof oil. its expensive, but hey, its the same oil that Ferrari uses in they're cars, and its what they recommend. haha

...tht better make my 3 drive like a dam ferrari.....if it doesnt improve anything then most likely i will not buy it. My max is 40$ on the big bottle of oil that has like 5-6 quarts in it i think.

well synthetic oil increases gas mileage, lubrication, and reduces sludge.
i went from 300km's/tank (before my first oil change) to 400+kms/tank after it.
so in the end, spending the extra ~$30 every 4 months kinda balances out.
plus i drive the **** out of my car most of the time, so it gives me some peace of mind.

RE: What oil to put in
I wouldn't change over right away, 2.0. There is no specified break-in period listed in the manual, but running her to 15k miles can't hurt. Better to be sure she's completely broken in before converting to full synthetic.
I was a nearly 20k before I went full synth, and I drive the Sh*t out of mine too, as traffic allows, that is. I had 120K on my Honda before converting.
You wanna make sure the rings and cylinders have worn in together for the best fit. That's the biggie as I understand it.
It's been suggested, one that I myself have taken seriously (see my outdated sig,) to stay away from the current Moble1... that they've switched to a much cheaper and less effective base to create their synth oil from. I don't want to take that chance.
