There is a small hole to the left of my cigarette lighter. What is it? Perhaps it is missing something. It looks like a small led might have been in it or something.

 

Assuming you're talking about the little round thing on the left side of that piece then that's the "passenger airbag off" light. If you put something weighing less than 50 pounds in the front passenger seat then the light will illuminate to tell you that the airbag won't deploy. If that's it then it should light up when you first turn the car on, and then turn off within about 5 seconds.

So is it the little round thing to the left of the lighter?

 

No, there is actually a small hole in between the air bag light and the cig lighter. It looks as if a small LED light may have been there as a security feature or something. Not too sure. I will try to take a pic and post here. I am new to this site so I will have to learn and play around with it.

 

Did you buy used?

Just upload a picture to a site that hosts stuff (photobucket.com, etc) and place the address of the picture between [img][/img] tags.

 

I have never noticed this little hole you speak of. I'll have to check tomorrow morning when I head out to work. You've piqued my interest.

Yeah, me too.... there's no hole there. Did someone else previously own your vehicle? Maybe they tried to do something?
