What kind of exhaust?
Hello guys, I was just wondering what kind of exhaust, you would recommend to put on a 2004 Mazda3 Sedan to get the kind of sporty/street racing sound. I want to install one onto my care, but I don't want to spend my money and then not like the sound of it. So if you could, post what kind of exhaust you would put on it, and try to give me a link to where I could hear what it would sound like.

i didnt want to spend all the money either so i did some research and ended up doing like half of a straight pipe. I took it to my local shop and they literally just removed my muffler and replaced it with piping with the same stock tip. i still have the res and cat so its not ear bleeding loud. its perfect. I love the sound of it and i got it done for 100 bucks. (pretty cheap IMO) if you want i can take a vid and post it or pics to show you how it was completed

if i cant make a vid of it theres a few on youtube. this isnt mine but its exactly what i did. YouTube - Mazda 3 muffler delete it gives it a bit of a more throaty sound but its not to loud

did you listen to the whole video? cuz he goes to the outside during the second half. just making sure you did that.. and i dont think i can make a video sorry. the only way i could would be with my phone and my guess is it would be the same crappy quality. just search on youtube "mazda 3 muffler delete" or "mazda 3 straight pipe" plus its only about 100 bucks to do so i thought why not. i personally like the sound and people that ride with me doesnt say its ricey or sounds like a dirtbike or fartcan. they like it. its more of a rumble

sorry its not the best of pictures. i took it at night as when thats the only time im home. but i took it to my local shop (PurPerformance) and the guy said it would be a little tricky trying to twist a pipe so it works but he said it was do-able.. it cost me around 110 bucks. (90 for labor, 20 for parts). But i hope this helps. need anything else just ask
