It is undoubtedly a unique color... destined to be the Solar Yellow of the '07-'08 years. I don't mean that in a bad way at all. I toohave only seen one in person and I had to stare at it until it was gone from site. It seems to change color depending on the sun and the angle of light available.
I don't know what else to say about it except that I found it rather curious and fascinating auto finish.

 

I have seen 2 other Mazda's that Color, on used 07 M6 4 doorwith 24,000 miles on it and the other was a new M3 4 door on the same lot I got this one from. Almost every other one I see is some shade of grey or red, including my brothers grey 05.

that purple looks noice. im not a fan of purple but i would definitly drive that. considering it doesnt look like a purple but more like a maroonish colour. however not to be disrespectful in anyway. i like my colour.. yea its carbon gray but it still looks good.

 

Actually Jamie, the 05 grey is what made me go look at the 3, and no disrespect meant or taken [8D]

the 05 gray. i dont think they had carbon gray in 05. mine is 08 and it looks better then the gray with the 05 IMO. and yers we are soo understanding arent we. yet you ended up with a cool unique colour in a beautiful car. kudos to you

it truely is. compared to the EL i was driving before. well then again the EL was automatic (2004 acura EL) but this car is soo much fun to drive i love it. i definitly will get another one once the time comes to get rid of mine (mind you not for another 10 yrs)
