+1!!! Little things like that can be frustrating.
It seems though that Mazda had/has a bad batch of gas caps on "08/"08.5 models.I"ve read a number of ownersposts where the cap either got stuck, cross-threaded, broke off or would not close to the PCM"s satisfaction.
If you continue to have problems I would take it to the dealer and if they do not comply, demand they provide a new one to you.
