Default vibrant exhaust silencer

does this exist? i need to make my exhaust quieter but on the vibrant exhaust there is this lip on the tip that makes it hard to fit a silencer in there. any ideas

A silencer? Why in the world for? The Vibe is not that loud to begin with.
Now as far as I know there is no silencer available for the Vibe system.
A universal, and God only knows what it would do, could be made to fit, I"m sure. It could be screwed into the tip after some holes are drilled into it, or welded, or you could cut off the stock tip and get a more suitable universal one to take it"s place, but these systems are not ur typical Fireball/N1 eBay fart cans. I don"t know why in the world you would need a silencer on the Vibe. I think mine is one of the classiest and most coplete AM systems available for the 3.
If you stay off the skinny pedal while accelerating, it"s only a little louder thanthe factory system was. For me, it"s only when you really floor it, or rev up that it gets a bit louder.

my parents can hear it in their room when i start it up and leave the house, and arrive home. as well as my girlfriends parents can hear when i come and go. i just want a removable silencer i got a universal 4 inch to fit but the lip on the exhaust tip is in the way. u think i could shave the lip off without damaging the cosmetics?

It's 304 St.St. Not easy stuff to "shave."
